Mobile app battery drain — optimization tips?

in my experience the app drains battery like crazy when you have location tracking on all day. my phone is dead by 2pm most days and i got jobs till 6. tried turning off bluetooth but that didnt help much.

anyone found actual settings that work? not interested in buying a battery pack just to do my job.

Settings → Location → switch from "Always" to "While Using" Mobile app → hamburger menu → Offline Mode → enable at start of day, sync manually at breaks Turn off photo auto-upload, batch at end of job Disable push notifications for non-urgent alerts (Settings → Notifications) Our techs get 8+ hours with these changes. so basically what sylvia said but also i found out the hard way that having the map view open constantly is what really kills it. like if youre just leaving dispatch board open on your phone while driving between jobs thats rough. what i do now is close the app completely when im driving and only open it when i get there. also tbh the offline mode thing is a game changer i didnt even know that was there lol
