Dark mode availability in mobile app?

tbh i dont think so? ive looked too and never found it. just been turning my screen brightness way down lol. would be nice tho

Hey Sam! Great question — dark mode isn't available in the FieldPulse mobile app currently, but it's on our radar. I've noted your feedback with our product team.

In the meantime, two workarounds that might help:

1. Enable Dark theme in your Android system settings — some parts of the app will respect the system setting, though not all screens
2. Use your device's Battery Saver or Extra dim mode for evening shifts

ah gotcha thanks priya. the system dark theme thing kinda works? like the menu bar goes dark but the actual job screens stay blinding white lol. oh well hope it comes soon

Pro tip: if you're on Android 14+, there's a forced dark mode in developer options that works on most apps. Settings > System > Developer options > Override force-dark. YMMV but it's helped me with a bunch of apps that don't have native dark mode yet.

FieldPulse screens look pretty decent with it actually, though some buttons get weird colors. Better than retina burn at 10pm though.

been asking for this for like 2 years. in my experience they prioritize dispatch features over field comfort. not holding my breath
