Drag-and-drop schedule limits — max jobs per day view?

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a great week! So our team is growing (yay!) but I'm running into something weird with the dispatch board. When I try to drag and drop jobs for our busiest techs, the screen gets really crowded and I feel like I'm hitting some kind of limit? Like is there a max number of jobs that show per day in the drag-and-drop view? And if so, can I change it? I couldn't find anything in settings but maybe I missed it! Also is there a way to zoom out or see more hours at once? Our morning rush is getting hard to manage with everything squished together! Thanks so much!

Happy to help, Deja! Great question — the drag-and-drop dispatch board does have some practical limits to keep performance smooth.

Here's what's happening:

The default view shows up to 12 jobs per technician per day in the standard zoom level
Additional jobs are still scheduled — they just don't all render in the compact horizontal view
You can adjust this using the Zoom controls in the top-right of the dispatch board

Try switching to "Compact" or "Timeline" view for high-volume days — these handle 20+ jobs per tech much better. Let me know if that helps!

Pro tip: if you're regularly hitting 12+ jobs per tech per day, you might want to look at your scheduling density... that's a lot of context switching for one person. Not saying you can't do it, just that FieldPulse isn't really the bottleneck here.

Adding to Priya's answer — you can also use Color Coding by job type or priority to make the dense timeline easier to scan. We set urgent calls to red and routine maintenance to blue, so even when the board is packed you can spot problems fast. Also worth mentioning: the Filters panel lets you hide completed/cancelled jobs, which frees up visual space. Don't forget to clear filters at the end of your shift — learned that one the hard way when I couldn't find a job the next morning!
