Hey so im out in the field rn and cell service is basically nonexistent in this area. Been trying to update a job to "in progress" but the app just spins and nothing happens. Is there a way to mark jobs without wifi? Like does it save locally and sync later or am I stuck until I find signal? Thx
Hi Tyler! Great question — and yes, you're covered here.
FieldPulse Mobile App supports offline status updates. Here's exactly how it works:
Offline mode activates automatically when the app detects no connectivity
Your status change is queued locally — you'll see a "pending" indicator
Sync happens automatically when connection returns, or you can manually sync via Menu → Sync Now
For more details, including troubleshooting if sync doesn't complete: Using FieldPulse Offline and Syncing Data When You Reconnect.
One heads-up: photos and signatures taken offline will also queue, but they can take longer to upload depending on file size. If you're on a weak connection, the app prioritizes status updates first.
Let me know if you don't see the pending indicator after trying this!
