Nested reply: Android notification fix didn't work for Samsung devices

hey so i saw the fix in the other thread about android notifications

tried it on my samsung galaxy s23 and still nothing

went into settings > apps > fieldpulse > notifications and everything looks enabled

even turned off battery optimization like the post said

but im still not getting the push when dispatch assigns me jobs

idk if samsung does something different with their one ui thing

anyone else on samsung having this problem or am i just unlucky lol

    Hi Tyler! Happy to help with this — Samsung devices do require some additional configuration beyond standard Android.

    Josh's suggestion about Sleep mode is spot on. Here's the complete checklist we recommend for Samsung Galaxy devices:

    1. Settings > Battery > Background usage limits: Add FieldPulse to "Never sleeping apps"
    2. Settings > Battery > More battery settings: Disable "Adaptive battery"
    3. Settings > Apps > FieldPulse > Battery: Set to "Unrestricted"
    4. Settings > Modes and Routines: Check if any automated mode is blocking notifications
